Dutchland Derby Rollers

Formed in 2006, the Dutchland Derby Rollers are a do-it-yourself flat track roller derby league, born as just an idea from a group of gals who love to don eight wheels and skate. We dedicate ourselves to athleticism and community involvement while delivering a strong, positive female image to South Central Pennsylvania.

Dutchland Kicks off 10th Season, March 12th

February 25, 2016

LANCASTER, PA – Dutchland Rollers, Inc. (DDR), Lancaster’s premier flat-track roller derby team and proud member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), are excited to celebrate our ten-year anniversary. We will kick off our tenth year on skates with our 2016 All-Stars season opener followed by a unique BONUS GAME, featuring local skaters.

Don't miss our home doubleheader at Overlook Activities Center, located in Manheim Township, on Saturday, March 12th at 6:00 pm – doors open at 5:30. The Dutchland All-Stars will take on Black Rose Rollers All Stars of Hanover, PA. The night will continue on with our Shamrock Shake-Up, a fun competitive mixed game featuring both Dutchland skaters and skaters from neighboring Central Pennsylvania leagues.

After ten years of speedy footwork and hard hitting, Dutchland Rollers, Inc. will continue their goal to develop the strength and athleticism of our league through a new league structure on our track towards WTFDA success. Dutchland Rollers, Inc. has changed our A,B,C team structure to a traveling two team structure that will compete against other members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association. In addition to the Dutchland All-Stars and the Dutchland Blitz the league will introduce the addition of interleague home-teams.

Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby is the fastest growing sport in the world and Dutchland Rollers, Inc. are proud members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the international governing body for the sport. WFTDA is charged with setting the standards for rules, seasons, and safety within the association.

Dutchland Rollers, Inc. continues to cherish our role in the Lancaster community. Each home bout the ladies of Dutchland work with a local community organization to promote their cause. In turn our community partner will receive a portion of the events ticket sales. In the past seven years Dutchland has donated approximately $27,000 to worthy causes across Lancaster County.
