What brought you to DDR?
One of my coworkers was talking about tryouts at work one day, and I though it would be something exciting to try. I hadn't been on roller skates since I was a kid, but once I got started I realized that I really enjoy skating, and the sport of roller derby!
What keeps your wheels turning?
Roller derby is a great way to stay in shape, and I love being part of a team that's made up of such great people. It's also competitive, and gives me personal goals to work toward.
What is your most embarrassing derby moment?
Falling during the warmups before a game, and taking out half of my teammates in a pileup on the track.
What is your proudest derby moment?
Passing tryouts, making the team, and getting on the roster for my first game on May 14, 2011.
