What is your most embarrassing Derby moment?

When my jammer (I think it was Lucy Van Belt) tried to take an assist off my shorts and pulled them down! Then they started calling me “Bunny McBuns.”

What is your proudest Derby moment?

Winning the 2008 league championship with the Barn Razors.

Got any injury stories?

Once I had a bunny-shaped bruise. Another time, I had a heart-shaped scrape on my knee. But that one I got from tripping on a broken sidewalk. Yes, I fell walking down the street. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. This happened the day before our season opener against Montréal, so I didn’t get to skate much that bout. Sad Bunny!

Impress us with your skating skills…

I have awesome endurance and I’ve been told that I skate fancy-like.

Derby Props?

Skates: Reidell R3 (no leather for me!)
Wheels: Radar Flat Outs with Fugitive Pushers for maximum grip
Protective Gear: S-One makes the only helmet big enough to fit over my big head of hair.
Must haves: Extra skate laces to tie up my pigtails (or bunny ears?) and fancy hotpants. I am convinced that the shorter the shorts, the faster I skate! Shiny-ness probably helps too.
