What brought you to DDR?

I came to Dutchland because of the sisterhood, business aspect and having rules and regulations for the team. It is very organized.

What keeps your wheels turning?

I love the physical workout and pushing myself harder than I ever thought I could go! Being around a group of girls that I really enjoy being with helps motivate me!

What is your most embarrassing derby moment?

My 81 year old aunt caught one of my bras I flung into the audience! She immediately told my Dad “take this” and my dad said “I don’t want it! You keep it! I don‘t wanna be seen with this!” My aunt hid it under her seat and at half time she said “Take this back!”

What is your proudest derby moment?

My first game being captain of Special Vixens Unit in Lehigh. We were 2 points away from the other team with only 30 seconds left. Their jammer went to the box. We helped our jammer get through twice and won the game by 3 points! We all cried!

DDR Awards/ Fan Favorite Awards?

I won “Most Team Spirit” and “Fashion Flare Extraordinaire” award from Lehigh.

Got any injury stories?

Torn cartilage in both knees, torn AC joint in shoulder, broken coccyx, broken middle finger, sprained tibia and fibula in ankle.

Impress us with your skating skills…

I never played a sport before so I guess I’m impressed with the fact that I can stay on my feet after getting hit! I just learned how to do jump transitions which has been a personal goal of mine!
