- What brought you to DDR?
- Looking for an outlet to stay fit and do something for our community, especially women; I set out with a few other great women to start the league.
- What keeps your wheels turning?
- I’m inspired daily by the members of this league and their constant efforts to make Dutchland the best it can be. My derby family has helped me through some difficult time and I’m so lucky to have them by my side!
- What is your most embarrassing derby moment?
- There are too many to count, probably the photos with the straws up my nose or my horrible leg wrestling losses on the sidewalks of Lancaster city.
- What is your proudest derby moment?
- Oh man, I was pretty proud when we had out first derby baby, Amelia Medusa… getting into the WFTDA was a proud moment… our exhibition bout… everytime I make it through VooDoo-durance at practice!
- DDR Awards/ Fan Favorite Awards?
- I’ve won “Booty to Beat,” “Rink Beneath my Skates,” and “Skater You Want to Land in Your Lap.”
- Got any injury stories?
- My injuries were all here before derby! I was a distance runner for several years and that helped ruin anything that derby would hurt.
- Impress us with your skating skills…
- I once sent Twisted Scizzors off her skates and deep into the crowd with a solid hit from my booty!
- Derby props?
- Skates: Reidell 265’s (I’m switching to the vegan variety soon, my skates are the only thing leather I’ve ever owned!)
Wheels: red ones?
Protective Gear: Only the best for these knees! Scabs pads and horseshoes all the way!
Must-Haves: Stompin’ Lizzy Stanton’s booty by my side.
