When did you start playing Roller Derby?
I think it's been around two years or two and a half. I don't keep count, I just have fun.
What positions do you normally play/like to play?
I LOVE BLOCKING!! I can also be a Jammer, but blocking makes me happy inside. I like to do offense and hit people. HA!
What do you love about Roller Derby?
I love it all! Derby has been really good to me. I've met great people in the derby community. These people work hard and put a lot into the sport. It just encourages me to be better every day. Plus it makes me feel strong, yeah!
What do you love about Dutchland?
It always feels like I am surrounded by strong, confident and powerful people. Plus my teammates make sure I do all my school work before practice, how great is that? I admire my teammates and everyone who helps make derby happen. It takes a village!
Favorite Roller Derby moment?
I did play against Bay Area once at ECDX, it was like a dream come true.
What is your most embarrassing derby moment?
I always fall during intros.
What is one piece of advice you could give to newer girls or those who are thinking about joining Roller Derby?
DO IT! It's great for the soul. It's also hard word and takes dedication, but it is so worth it.
What is one thing that Roller Derby/Dutchland helped you achieve?
I have good people surrounding me and that is so great.
What has Roller Derby taught you?
Patience and size does NOT matter.
Anything you'd like to say to your adoring fans?
