What do you love about Roller Derby? says Marie:"What's not to love? I love that roller derby is competitive, challenging, different. It's a sport that has you carefully running on your toe stops one second then slamming yourself into a wall of opposing players the next. It's all about strategy, timing, awareness, and being able to multi task. You need to be quick on your feet, you need to trust your team mates, and you need to want to push yourself to get better."
"If you want something bad enough, you better work hard. Work as hard as you can. And then work some more."
